Is Mtaani free?
Yes to join and for everyday use. Some optional features carry a charge, always shown before you pay.
Why do you need my phone number?
It is how you sign in, how buyers and sellers are verified, and how M-Pesa payments and payouts are matched to you.
Who sees my phone number?
Nobody by default. Where a contact number is shown, it is masked to the last four digits.
Why is my account pending?
New accounts may pass through an approval step. You can still open a small set of public pages while you wait.
A payment failed — what now?
Nothing is charged and your cart stays as it was. Try again, or contact us with the order reference if money left your account.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Contact us and we will close it and remove your personal data, keeping only records the law requires.
